S-500 er en S model, Ganske som Legacy, men her får du Leos MFD Single Coil pickups, som har justerbare poler, og som var de originale G&L designs Leo havde lagt så mange kræfter i, for at videreudvikle den klassiske Single Coil pickup. Også her får du selvfølgelig G&Ls tremolosystem, PTB kontroller, og desuden mulighed for, via Push/Pull funktion, at sammenkoble alle 3 pickups, eller kombinere Neck/Bridge.
