Leos L serie basser, startede som en videreførelse af hans Music Man designs, og med to Humbucker pickups tilbød G&L noget på det tidspunkt, som ikke fandtes hos MM. L serien har siden starten fået sit eget liv, og både L-2000, og L-2500 (5 str) er blevet manges favorit bas, og i høj grad en bestseller i Tribute serien.
G&L er Leo Fenders sidste livsværk, skabt på erfaringerne fra Fender og Music Man, og designet i Leo’s workshop, på Fender Avenue 2548, i Fullerton, CA. Stedet hvor de første Music Mans blev bygget, og siden alle G&L USA modeller. Den lille fabrik kører stadig på højtryk, og Leo’s værksted står, som da han forlod det. Tradition og håndværk forenet. At the core of the Legend One series is the Legend Soul Engine, powered by Viscount's proprietary TMT (Tonewheel Modeling Technology) and HDS (High-Definition Sampling). These technologies provide authentic organ tones, including detailed recreations of iconic models such as the B3 (1938), C3 (1955), A100 (1961), and more. The 91 tonewheels offer rich polyphony and realistic harmonic detail, capturing the essence of classic tonewheel organs.
The series includes 119 additional sounds, ranging from acoustic and electric pianos to synths, strings, brass, and more. Players can utilize the Sound 1 and Sound 2 zones, along with the dedicated Pedal Section, to layer and split sounds across the keyboard for maximum creative expression. The Bass Section offers 22 bass sounds, including traditional tonewheel, pipe, and synth bass options, ensuring deep, resonant tones.
