Leos L serie basser, startede som en videreførelse af hans Music Man designs, og med to Humbucker pickups tilbød G&L noget på det tidspunkt, som ikke fandtes hos MM. L serien har siden starten fået sit eget liv, og både L-2000, og L-2500 (5 str) er blevet manges favorit bas, og i høj grad en bestseller i Tribute serien.
G&L er Leo Fenders sidste livsværk, skabt på erfaringerne fra Fender og Music Man, og designet i Leo’s workshop, på Fender Avenue 2548, i Fullerton, CA. Stedet hvor de første Music Mans blev bygget, og siden alle G&L USA modeller. Den lille fabrik kører stadig på højtryk, og Leo’s værksted står, som da han forlod det. Tradition og håndværk forenet. The XVIVE Audio USA Design Team is made up of musicians and engineers who have decades of professional experience.
Howard Davis works as our Chief Designer. He is well known for his many pedal designs for Electro Harmonix (1976 to 1981) and later did design work for Pigtronix (including the Mother Ship analog guitar Synthesizer). He has done independent design work for several artists and we are very happy to have him aboard.
