Tribute L-2000
Leos L serie basser, startede som en videreførelse af hans Music Man designs, og med to Humbucker pickups tilbød G&L noget på det tidspunkt, som ikke fandtes hos MM. L serien har siden starten fået sit eget liv, og både L-2000, og L-2500 (5 str) er blevet manges favorit bas, og i høj grad en bestseller i Tribute serien.
G&L er Leo Fenders sidste livsværk, skabt på erfaringerne fra Fender og Music Man, og designet i Leo’s workshop, på Fender Avenue 2548, i Fullerton, CA. Stedet hvor de første Music Mans blev bygget, og siden alle G&L USA modeller. Den lille fabrik kører stadig på højtryk, og Leo’s værksted står, som da han forlod det. Tradition og håndværk forenet. We have designed the Creamer reverb to be dead simple to operate, but with just enough room for tweaking, so you don´t feel limited in your search for the sonic equivalent of Grand Canyon or that small room we frequently visit every day.

Kicking off in the late 1960s, under the guidance of Dave Reeves, Hiwatt gave Marshall a run for their money, contributing hugely to the sonic landscape that became know as ‘The British Sound’. With artists such as The Who and Pink Floyd, the brand was at the forefront of guitar amplification for the remainder of the 1960s and much of the 1970s. Reeves’ untimely death and severe licensing problems threw the trade mark into the doldrums for much of the next two decades.
