A little over 40 years ago, largely because we could not afford to buy a high quality electric guitar, and partly because we enjoyed a challenge, my Dad and I decided to make an electric guitar. I designed an instrument from scratch, with the intention that it would have a capability beyond anything that was out there, more tunable, with a greater range of pitches and sounds, with a better tremolo, and with a capability of feeding back through the air in a "good" way - i.e. in a self-sustaining mode.

Physis Piano er en idé.
Idéen om at tilbyde et publikum af musikere og fagfolk et stadig mere sofistikeret digital piano som er i stand til at blive den nye absolutte referencepunkt indenfor digitalpianoer: kraftfuld, alsidig, smukt, med en fantastisk lyd, der omdefinerer ”state of the art”.
Et instrument så avanceret og omfattende, at det ikke kan sammenlignes med noget andet digital piano, men kun med den dynamiske kreative lyd som kun et akustisk piano har.
Et værktøj, der ikke eksisterede, fordi det forudsatte en teknologi, som endnu ikke var blevet udviklet, og et værk af design og teknik så kompleks, at ingen nogensinde havde turdet forestille sig det.
Vi besluttede at tage den lange rejse gennem ukendte territorier af lyd,
og det piano der ikke var der .. er der nu.

The Mudhoney distortion was our first shot at making a great, all-round distortion box. That´s how most owners have described it - it just plain works for a lot of different music styles and they haven´t found a similar sound in many other pedals. The Galli Musical Strings Company was established by Tommaso Galli in 1890. At that time musical strings were handcrafted using gut.
