‘The British Sound’
Formidable weaponry
It was the Who’s John Entwistle who first traded in his Marshall stacks in favour of Sound City at the beginning of 1967, and Pete Townshend followed later that year.
At this time, Dave Reeves was providing Sound City with the amplifiers, OEM. They were the first in a lineage of amplifiers that would quickly evolve into Hiwatt.
Also, around this time, Jimi Hendrix and his manager Chas Chandler approached Townshend, asking for his opinion on amplification. He told them that he had stopped using Marshall, as he thought Sound City were better. The Jimi Hendrix Experience subsequentlystarted using Sound City rigs, but set them up together with their Marshall stacks instead of replacing them.
In late 1968, The Who approached Dallas Arbiter, the makers of Sound City, asking if their equipment could be modified slightly. This request was denied, but independent amp designer and manufacturer Dave Reeves agreed, and created customised L100 amplifier
Revolutionary Sound Engine
At the core of the Legend One series is the Legend Soul Engine, powered by Viscount's proprietary TMT (Tonewheel Modeling Technology) and HDS (High-Definition Sampling). These technologies provide authentic organ tones, including detailed recreations of iconic models such as the B3 (1938), C3 (1955), A100 (1961), and more. The 91 tonewheels offer rich polyphony and realistic harmonic detail, capturing the essence of classic tonewheel organs.
The series includes 119 additional sounds, ranging from acoustic and electric pianos to synths, strings, brass, and more. Players can utilize the Sound 1 and Sound 2 zones, along with the dedicated Pedal Section, to layer and split sounds across the keyboard for maximum creative expression. The Bass Section offers 22 bass sounds, including traditional tonewheel, pipe, and synth bass options, ensuring deep, resonant tones.

The Razer boasts a longer, narrow taper when compared to the Classic. This subtle difference results in an articulate, precise, picking machine. If there is a fast alternate picking line that you have played a thousand times, then you must try it with a Razer. Arpeggios and chunky rhythms are great as well for the Razer. This is Rob Chapman's pick of choice.

NAMED AFTER DANISH GUITARIST KNUD MØLLER
T-Rex Møller 2 delivers the same classic overdrive that made it's predecessor one of T-Rex’s most sought-after pedals. Named after Danish guitarist Knud Møller, for whom the original pedal was designed, Møller 2 features a more durable “Bass Boost” toggle switch and easier-to-read control knob graphics. The pedal is armed with a 0-20 db clean boost, as well as a mix control which lets you dial in the perfect balance between distorted and clean signals. Rolled all the way up and with distortion maxed, the pedal sounds just like a vintage tube amp at full volume. Roll the Mix knob back a bit, and your clean signal starts to get through; if you pick lightly or roll back your guitar volume, you get a stunning clean, softly-clipping sound that retains all the feel and dynamics of your original tone, only bigger, louder and richer. The boost function lets you dial in a solo level, whether the overdrive circuit is activated or not.

The Tripp is the most versatile pick that Gravity sells. Using the tri-tip model platform, we’ve put a different tip on each end from three of our popular picks. The Tripp has one tip that’s sharp like the Sunrise, giving you the ability to pick or shred, a second tip that’s rounded like the Axis, made for some smooth strumming, and a third tip that is semi-pointed/semi-rounded like the Striker, giving you the versatility to alternate from picking to strumming to any style you play. With this pick you have everything. Not only do you get the ability and option to play different styles, this pick gives you different tones and sounds — from bright, higher frequencies to mid-range tones. You can call it a bargain pick or a great practice tool, but one thing is for sure, the Tripp sounds as good as it looks.
