The Mudhoney distortion was our first shot at making a great, all-round distortion box. That´s how most owners have described it - it just plain works for a lot of different music styles and they haven´t found a similar sound in many other pedals. In fact, there´s a story about a player that bought and sold six Mudhoney´s, before realizing that the pedals he replaced it with weren´t doing it for him, so he got the seventh one – and kept it.
More than just a PAR Wash, the PARWASH76-RING is an invitation to creativity. With just 21 cm diameter, 10 cm thickness and a tiny kilogram on the balance, the PARWASH 76 RING iS easy to install, even in small spaces, thanks to its silent passive cooling. Ideal for any private event or indoor performance, it features 7 X 6W RGBW LEDs offering nuanced, vibrant colors, combined with an RGB LED ring creating rotating animations or fixed colors to generate a halo around the main beam. Versatile, it features an automatic mode, a music detection mode and a DMX mode allowing control by DMX remote control, in addition to the infrared remote control supplied. The PARWASH 76 RING is easy to install, thanks to its dual bracket for easy floor installation, and its passive cooling, which generates neither unwanted noise nor excessive heat during indoor performances or events.

It was the Who’s John Entwistle who first traded in his Marshall stacks in favour of Sound City at the beginning of 1967, and Pete Townshend followed later that year.
At this time, Dave Reeves was providing Sound City with the amplifiers, OEM. They were the first in a lineage of amplifiers that would quickly evolve into Hiwatt.
Also, around this time, Jimi Hendrix and his manager Chas Chandler approached Townshend, asking for his opinion on amplification. He told them that he had stopped using Marshall, as he thought Sound City were better. The Jimi Hendrix Experience subsequentlystarted using Sound City rigs, but set them up together with their Marshall stacks instead of replacing them.
In late 1968, The Who approached Dallas Arbiter, the makers of Sound City, asking if their equipment could be modified slightly. This request was denied, but independent amp designer and manufacturer Dave Reeves agreed, and created customised L100 amplifier

A little over 40 years ago, largely because we could not afford to buy a high quality electric guitar, and partly because we enjoyed a challenge, my Dad and I decided to make an electric guitar. I designed an instrument from scratch, with the intention that it would have a capability beyond anything that was out there, more tunable, with a greater range of pitches and sounds, with a better tremolo, and with a capability of feeding back through the air in a "good" way - i.e. in a self-sustaining mode.
